چکیده
Mol. Nutr. Food Res. 2021, 65, 202100536 DOI: 10.1002/mnfr.202100536 IgE-mediated food allergies (IgE-FA) are considered a growing epidemic. Its pathogenic mechanisms remain however largely unknown. The authors performed literature search followed by in-depth pathway mapping of IgE-FA in children, and revealed shift energy metabolism, next to aberrant metabolization bile acids, lipids, nucleotides, fecal SCFAs amino acids. As such, this work confirmed the unprecedented opportunities metabolomics while offering solid basis for future FA research. This is reported Lynn Vanhaecke co-workers article number 2100536.

Clinical Protests Food Allergy in Children
The best recognized intestinal manifestation of food allergy is food allergic (food-sensitive) enteropathy. The feature of enteropathy may include lymphocyte and plasma cell infiltration, epithelial abnormality, or crypt hyperplastic villous atrophy, and impairing absorption, enterophaty continues while the food remains in the diet, remitting on an exclusion diet, and usually recurring on food ...

conclusions the characteristic features of ige-mediated food allergy are abrupt onset of clinical symptoms, which may result in a life-threatening events, and positive results of the majority of the paraclinical tests that mainly trace the specific ige to foods. moreover, non–ige-mediated food allergies present as chronic diseases and due to lack of proper diagnostic tests the similarity of the...
متن کاملThe Evaluation of Food Allergy on Behavior in Autistic Children
Background: Despite many efforts, the etiology of autism remains unknown. Food allergy has been suggested as a pathogenic factor in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our aim in this study was to determine whether food allergy could be considered as a risk factor for autistic children. Methods: Thirty-nine autistic children were examined by the skin prick test (SPT), and total serum IgE was eva...
متن کاملThe diagnosis of food allergy: protocol for a systematic review
BACKGROUND The literature on diagnostic tests for food allergy currently lacks clear consensus regarding the accuracy and safety of different investigative approaches. The European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology is in the process of developing its Guideline for Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis, and this systematic review is one of seven inter-linked evidence syntheses that are being und...
متن کاملFood Allergy and Helicobacter pylori Infection: A Systematic Review
INTRODUCTION Based on the hygiene hypothesis, a low prevalence of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection may explain the recent high prevalence of allergic diseases including food allergy. However, there are very few studies that investigate the relationship between H. pylori and food allergy. SUMMARY We searched for PubMed, Ovid Medline and the Cochrane library for relevant articles publi...
